  • 1964 - The NBC TV network airs the Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color show, featuring The Scarecrow of Romney Marsh, part two.
  • 1969 - The NBC TV network airs the Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color show, featuring The Secret of Boyne Castle, part two.
  • 1970 - The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences nominates the film It's Tough To Be A Bird for an Oscar Award in the category Short Subjects, Cartoons.
  • 1981 - Turks and Caicos Islands issues three postage stamps marking the 50th anniversary of the creation of Pluto.
  • 1984 - The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences nominates the film Mickey's Christmas Carol for an Oscar Award in the category Short Film, Animated.
  • 1986 - The ABC TV network airs The Disney Sunday Movie, two films entitled The Last Electric Knight and Two and Onehalf Dads.
  • 1991 - NBC airs the last episode of the Disney TV series The Fanelli Boys.
  • 1991 - The stage show Dick Tracy Starring in Diamond Double-Cross at the Disney-MGM Studios at Walt Disney World gives its last performance.
  • 1993 - Walt Disney Records releases the album For Our Children: The Concert.
  • 1993 - The Disney Channel airs For Our Children: The Concert.
  • 1994 - Disney releases the animated film compilation Winnie the Pooh: Playtime Volume 1 - Detective Tigger / Cowboy Pooh on laserdisc for US$30. It includes The Good, The Bad, and The Tigger, Tigger, Private eye, Rabbit Marks the Spot, The Masked Offender, Sham Pooh, Invasion of the Pooh Snatcher, Eeyore's Tail Tale.
  • 1998 - Micronesia issues ten postage stamps depicting Winnie-the-Pooh characters.
  • 2001 - Disney releases the Walt Disney Pictures animated feature film Recess: School's Out to theaters in the USA.
  • 2003 - The ABC TV network airs The Wonderful World of Disney show, entitled Music Man.
  • 2004 - Diane Disney Miller sends a letter to the Disney board of directors, expressing her opposition to the Comcast deal. Miller also notes Michael Eisner's unwillingness to identify a successor, suggesting that he be replaced when his contract ends in 2006.
  • 2004 - The Disney board unanimously rejects the Comcast deal.
  • 2007 - Disney releases the film Bridge to Terabithia to theaters in the USA.
