  • 1964 - The NBC TV network airs the Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color show, featuring For the Love of Willadean, part two.
  • 1974 - The Circle Vision 360 film America the Beautiful closes at Walt Disney World.
  • 1975 - The revised film America the Beautiful opens at the Circle-Vision 360 theater at Walt Disney World.
  • 1987 - The Pickett Suite Resort hotel opens on Lake Buena Vista at Walt Disney World.
  • 1987 - The ABC TV network airs The Disney Sunday Movie, entitled Young Harry Houdini.
  • 1991 - The Disney Afternoon Avenue exhibit area debuts in Fantasyland at Disneyland.
  • 1991 - The Baloo's Dressing Room attraction opens in Fantasyland at Disneyland.
  • 1991 - The Plane Crazy musical show opens at the Videopolis in Disneyland.
  • 1991 - The Fantasyland Autopia at Disneyland is temporarily renamed Rescue Rangers Raceway.
  • 1991 - The Motor Boat Cruise at Disneyland is temporarily renamed Motor Boat Cruise to Gummi Glen.
  • 1994 - Nevis issues ten postage stamps depicting Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.
  • 1996 - Buena Vista Pictures releases the Touchstone Pictures live-action feature film Two Much to theaters in the US.
  • 2005 - Touchstone releases the film The Incredibles on DVD in the USA.
  • 2009 - The Fox Broadcasting Company airs The Simpsons TV show in the US. A copy of a film mocks the title of the Disney film Ratatouille as "RATATOOEY". A rat on a man's head pulls two of his hairs to make him cook, like in the movie.

  • 1927 - Birth of Jack Lindquist in Chicago, Illinois; child actor (Our Gang), advertising manager for Disneyland, park president, originated many concepts and expansions, retired 1993, named Disney Legend 1994.
