  • 1933 - The Mickey Mouse film Ye Olden Days is released to theaters. Dippy Dog (Goofy) and Minnie Mouse also appear.
  • 1933 - The Silly Symphony film Father Noah's Ark is released to theaters.
  • 1949 - The Donald Duck film Sea Salts is released.
  • 1962 - The NBC TV network airs the Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color show, entitled Von Drake in Spain, with Ludwig von Drake.
  • 1973 - The Walt Disney Story attraction and film opens on Main Street at Disneyland.
  • 1974 - The Treasure Island nature preserve pens to the public at Walt Disney World.
  • 1992 - The Gambia issues five postage stamps depicting various Disney characters in Chicago.
  • 1992 - The Gambia issues ten postage stamps depicting Mickey Mouse as Christopher Columbus.
  • 1994 - Buena Vista Pictures releases the Hollywood Pictures live-action feature film Holy Matrimony to theaters.
  • 1999 - Discovery Island at Walt Disney World closes.
  • 2001 - The Fox Broadcasting Company airs the Futurama TV show in the US. A sitting robotic Abraham Lincoln stands and talks, a reference to Disneyland's Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln attraction.
  • 2002 - Albania issues four postage stamps depicting Bambi and Thumper.
  • 2006 - The Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast attraction opens at Disneyland Paris.
  • 2008 - Disney announces plans for ten new animated films over the next four years.
